Many HWC members expressed interest in having ongoing conversations with the Insurance Commissioner’s office about Network Adequacy. Good news!
The OIC has begun a rule making process to revise their rules and policies on network adequacy to bring greater clarity to the requirements. If you are interested in being kept informed about the stakeholder meetings planned on the Commissioner’s proposed rule making R 2013-22, regarding Provider Networks, please email Meg Jones at email@example.com.
The first stakeholder meeting to discuss the scope of the rules, issues and operational considerations will be held on October 22, 2013, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The OIC has reserved the Training Room in the 5000 Building on Capitol Way for the meeting, and will provide call in information and an agenda at a later date.« Coverage is Here! |
